Instead of constantly reheating the ambient air in the roaster, Lorings recirculate the heat, requiring less energy to reach ideal roasting temperatures. To combat this and extend the life of your coffee, we immediately package, nitrogen flush, and seal each bag. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, non-reactive, food-safe gas that’s heavier than air, which forces flavor-stealing oxygen out before your bag is sealed tight.
